A high altitude glacial lake perched at an altitude of 16,000ft in Chamoli district of Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand, Roopkund is nestled in the laps of Trishul massif. Roopkund trek comes under the list of one of the most challenging treks in India. It is also called Skeleton lake due to the visibility of skeletons on the banks of the lake. Har ki Dun Valley Trek
One of the most scenic treks in Uttarakhand. Har ki Dun is a cradled-shaped hanging valley that is perched at an elevation of 3,566m and it is a popular trekking destination among trekkers. The total trek is of 26 km and can be covered in 7-8 days. The amazing trek starts from a village called Taluka and passes through so many tiny hamlets like Gangar, Osla, and Seema. Har ki Dun valley is all surrounded by alpine vegetation and snow-covered peaks. It also offers great views of the mighty mountains, a great variety of flora & fauna, beautiful landscapes, and a lot of adventure. Rupin Pass Trek
